Lucila Pacheco Dehne, *1994 Berlin, DE, lives and works in Hannover, DE. In her works, Dehne asks questions about transience, origin and fiction. She uses time-based and fragile materials such as food and ceramics to transfer stories into space. Using texts and videos, she describes fictional myths in which parallel worlds and utopias give rise to new hybrid identities. Based on a sculptural practice, she stages expansive installations that hold smaller sculptures together like membranes.
